Free Family Fun: Family Outdoor Expo

Outdoor ExpoThis week’s Free Family Fun post is about a great event in our local community called the Family Outdoor Expo.  This is a totally free, outdoor event for families in our community.  I love when a community comes together and puts on an event for families!  We went to this event a few years ago the last time we lived here and loved it.  They had it at the local community center in Victoria and we had a great time walking inside during some chilly weather and enjoying some events.  This year the event was at the Sun Valley Ranch in Victoria, TX and the majority of the events were outdoors.  God blessed us all with a warm day that is pretty common in the yo-yo temperatures of Texas during the winter.  We got there a little late in the day, but we got to enjoy a lot of the activities available for the kids.  Here are some pictures of some of the events that we were able to do at this year’s expo.

And how about a bull ride?

Fun was had by all of us and we even got a nice goodie bag with a free Superbook episode (to be reviewed in a coming blog post), free coupons from our favorite local Chick-fil-a, Supercuts, and more!  I am totally impressed with the job that the organizers of this event did this year.  If you live in the South Texas area, make plans to come to next year’s family expo.

More free friday ideas to come!  Have a great weekend!
